The Provincial MEC for Education Mr Ishmael Kgetjepe will be sending three learners, Mashele Mmabatho, Camilla Makhumbila, Hlengi Hulani and Nukeri Hlonipho Edgar from Mathlari High School, in Shikwambani Village, Mopani District who got position one during the South African Youth Water Prize (SAYWP) competition held in Gauteng, Benoni. They are now going to represent South Africa during the Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) competition in Sweden this month.

A better life for Morongwa Ramalekana

A 72-year-old pensioner staying in a one-roomed house with her daughter and granddaughter, Ms Morongwa Florinah Ramalekana of Ga-Mamaila villages life will never be the same again. Ramalekana received a better life after being handed over with a four-roomed house worth about R250 000-00 and furnishers worth R20 000-00 by the MEC for CoGHSTA Ms Makoma Makhurupetje.

Limpopo launches 2015 Women’s Month

South Africans will commemorate the 2015 Women’s Month under the theme ‘Women United in Moving South Africa Forward’. In 1956 on the 9th of August more than 20 000 women marched to the Union Buildings in protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women.
