First Lady encourages learners to study hard

First Lady of the Limpopo Province Mme Maggie Mathabatha encouraged learners of Nthame Primary School at Tubatse Municipality (Sekhukhune District) to study hard in order to achieve. She was speaking during the handing over of sports equipment at the school on 29 January 2015.
She expressed her passion for children and that the main purpose of the handing over was to encourage them to have time to play sports as their extramural activities. Talking as a Mother and former educator, Mme Mathabatha told learners to respect their educators and parents in order to be successful in their education. She thanked the Red Cross Organisation who also handed over clothes and shoes at the event.The Patron of the first lady trust further encouraged children to avoid using drugs as they will damage their future. She also criticized men who sexually abuse girls.
In his vote of thanks, Mr. M.L. Ramaipadi, Principal of the school thanked the First Lady for handing over the sports equipment. He promised her that the equipments were not going to gather dust in the storeroom as his school participates in sports.
