Tshivhase Secondary School is one of the best performing school in the matric results, It produced best matric students provincially and nationally in 2013 and 2015 respectively. The school got position three (3) in 2013 and 2015 provincially.

Ndou Ntsandeni and Fulufhelani Mashapha who topped the Province and at the National in 2013 and 2014 respectively  are now studying Actuary Science at the University of Cape Town. Mr. Fhatuwani Maselesele Principal attributed the success of his school to hardwork of his educators and other stakeholders. They also have morning and afternoon studies including winter school.

The School came into being in 1947 and  was built by Tshivhase Territorial Council. The school does not have enough classes, no laboratory and the computer lab is small. This year the school got position three in the province. Positions one and two went to Thengwe Secondary School and Mbilwi respectively. The feeder schools of Tshivhase are Vhufuli Primary School, Goldville, Ndikandafhi and Mphigalale.

Tshivhase secondary School has this year registered  368 matriculants with 73 educators. Mr Maselesele said that his school is aiming to top the province in 2016 matric results. The Premier of Limpopo Mr Chupu Mathabtha visited the school last year and find that the condition of the school is bad.

The Premier of Limpopo Mr Chupu Mathabtha during school campaign visited Dendron High School at Senwabarwana, Modubatse High at Kgapane, Refilwe High School and Ramohlokolo at Motetema, Sekhukhune. Premier Mathabatha encourage learners to work hard during the 2016 to produce better results as the target of Limpopo is 80%. He said discipline and listening to everyboby and reading is needed to all learners if they want to succed in education.

He added by saying time not wait for any man. You can not determine the direction of wind, as wind flows any direction. Distination is in your hand, you can not replace hard work with anything.
