MEC congratulates educators who represent the Province

Limpopo teachers, despite the less ideal working conditions, continue to make our province proud. Limpopo MEC for Education Ishmael Kgetjepe told members of Legislature, Lebowakgomo, on 14 April 2016.
Delivering the Budget Speech of his Department, Mr Kgetjepe told Honourable Members that in the recent 16th Annual National Teaching Awards Limpopo educators competed with the best in the country and were recognized accordingly with awards of excellent work.
He congratulated Ms Mabore Lekalakala from Toronto Primary School who obtained position one in teaching mathematics in the country’s primary schools. She walked away with a brand new car courtesy of Vodacom. The official handover was done on the 17 March in Polokwane. Ms Kwena Betty Mojela from Rev. Malatjie Primary School obtained position two in this prestigious awards.
Mr. Joseph Matlala attached to Mampatile Primary School got position two in the category recognizing Excellence in Primary School Leadership.Position two was obtained by Ms. Koena Letsoala from Maune Primary School for Excellence in Teaching Natural Sciences. Dr. Mapula Mofya Legodi of Rev. Malatjie Primary School obtained position three at the awards.
