OTP bids farewell to class of 2018/2019 interns

The Limpopo Province Office of the Premier (OTP) have bid farewell to a group of Interns who were placed at different units within the department during the 2018/19 Financial Year.

The internship program is aimed at providing training and experiential learning opportunities for the development of skills to the graduates from various institutions of higher learning.

The internship program is also a respond to National Development Plan vision 2030 in addressing empowerment within the sphere of government.

19 interns were awarded with Public Service Certificates for their significant service, having recently completed their 12 month (internship) program.

Deputy Director General Ms Manamela has alluded the importance of giving and placing post graduates an opportunity to apply theory that they have accumulated over the years at various universities into practice.

In response to the 2018/19 internship progress, Miss Mpho Mphahlele from the Development Planning and Miss Dimakatso Lekganyane from Strategic Planning unit at OTP extended their gratitude for the opportunity given to experience the corporate and the experience gained which among other things includes professional interaction with other departments and internal stakeholders and generally how the government works.
