Men’s Seminar, Move Health Walk and Launch of the 16 Days of Activism on No
Violence Against Women and Children

The Department of Health and Social Development in Limpopo Would like to invite
the media to the two day men’s seminar, Move for Health Walk and Launch of the
16 days of Activism on No Violence against Women and Children.
The Men’s seminar which is starting today the 24th of November is focusing on
improving men’s health as it has been noticed that very little attention is
given to them. The objective of the seminar is to:

Sensitize men in issues related to Reproductive health

Identify the needs of men in Reproductive Health.

Create an environment to meet men’s needs.

Create awareness in violence against women and children.
The 25th of November to the 10th December has been declared sixteen days of
activism against violence on women and children. The department of Health and
Social Development has planned the men’s seminar and this will be followed by
the sixteen days of activism and Move for Health Walk tomorrow the 25th of
November.
On Move for Health Walk the delegation will be lead by the Minister for Health
Manto Tshabalala-Msimang and the MEC Mr.Seaparo Sekoati starting at 8H30 from
the e provincial main Gate walking to Polokoane International Airport.
