    Baby Friendly Hospital Initiatives (Bfhi) Award Ceremony

    The Department of Health and Social Development invites members of the media to the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiatives Award Ceremony of hospital that maintained and gained the BFHI Status. The main aim of BFHI is to facilitate the transformation of maternity services in accordance with the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding and to improve at the Park Hotel- Mokopane.

    It is in this view that your Directorate is invited to the BFHI awarding ceremony for the following hospitals and health centres:

    National Assessments

    Makhado Health Centre
    Warmbath Hospital
    Musina Hospital

    The occasion will graced by local Mayors.
