    Provincial Plans for Conference with Wifes of Chiefs and Traditional Leaders (Women)

     The Nation Department of Social Development will be held the first lunch in Limpopo on the role of queens and wives of chiefs at Mopani District, Old Giyane Parliamentary Building on the 11th March 2006.

    Limpopo Provincial House of Traditional Leadeship through their Social Development Committee together with the Department of Heath and Social Department will embark on a process to unfold and facilitate awareness creation on the status and role of traditional leaders, wives of traditional leaders in the community.

    The main aim is to highlight the role of queens and wife of chiefs in the community, to encourage them to create projects around their community and also to be engage to the community development.

    The lunch will be held in all five districts and members of the media are invited.

    The event will take place as follows:
