    Oral Health Awareness Day

    The MEC of Department of Health and Social Development in Limpopo, Honourable Seaparo Sekoati invites all media people to the Oral Health Awareness Day. Basic health and social services are a human right and oral health is a significant component thereof.

    August is been observed as the National Oral Health in which we reach the climax of the Oral health promotion activities. Oral diseases appear to be increasing in major sectors of the South African population, especially the underserved, disadvantaged and urbanizing communities.

    The Department has noted that there is inadequate knowledge and information on the prevention of oral diseases and treatment.

    The event will take place as follows:
