The Handover of the Renovated House Number 2614b Namakgale and Presentation of
Certificates to Parolees and Probationers.
22 March 2007
The MEC for Health and Social Development honorable Seaparo Sekoati, invites
all members of Media to the handing over of a renovated house to the owner Mrs.
Mototo Moagi at Namakgale, Phalaborwa. The house was renovated by parolees and
probationers as a special project initiated by Correctional Services.
The department of Health and Social Development in Limpopo is proud to be part
of this event that proves that together we can fight and eliminate poverty in
our communities. Mrs. Moagi is a pensioner and also looks after two orphans.
The house that they were living in was of high health risk
More interesting, is that this house was renovated by parolees and probationers.
They learned the skills to build while they were in prison as an effort by the
department of Correctional Services to rehabilitate them.
