The province is hosting a two day investment conference that draws national and international delegate to roadmap economic forecasts for Limpopo and attract potential investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The strategic conference intents to augment Limpopo\u2019s economy development in mining, tourism, agro processing, agriculture, communication technology and mining beneficiation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the conference virtually, President Cyril Ramaphosa said the conference forms part of government\u2019s national effort which was announced in 2018 to attract foreign investment of 1.2 trillion over five years. \u201cThe conference draws together investors across the country, from across the continent and the world for new and further investment in the beautiful province of Limpopo,\u201d said President Ramaphosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The province boast of all precious mineral resources that are extracted in the country and is one of the biggest exporter of minerals ores globally. It is the second when it comes to international tourism visits in the country because of its majestic landscapes, nature reserves and heritage sites. This places the province as an ideal investment destination for both domestically and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Limpopo premier Stan Mathabatha said the success of the conference will reflect in the socio economic status of people in the province. Mathabatha added that the conference is an important catalyst for Musina Makhado Special Economic Zone. \u201cSEZ presents an abundant of opportunities for Limpopo in manufacturing, agro processing, pharmaceutical, automotive, mining and steel manufacturing which will results in job opportunities,\u201d he said.
