This was the significant message expressed by Chupu Mathabatha during the State of the Province Address.<\/p>\n<p>Special Economic Zones are designed to increase trade balance, employment, increase investment, job creation and effective administration.<\/p>\n<p>Mathabatha said Limpopo Provincial Government has put aside R600 million towards infrastructure roll-out in the North Site of the project in Musina Town.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGovernment is well on track in turning the Musina-Makhado Corridor into a melting-pot of industrial activity. The manufacturing, agro-processing and logistics hubs of the project are finally taking off the ground, In keeping with the global policy shift on energy generation and the commitment to sustain development ,SEZ has embraced the net-zero carbon emission goal by introducing green solar power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mathabatha highlighted that in December 2021, the Musina-Makhado SEZ secured an investment commitment for the first phase of the energy generation project to install a multi-billion 1,000-megawatt solar power plant to support the megawatt solar power plant to support the metallurgical complex.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited about the partnership with the Vhembe TVET College to build its Musina Satellite Campus inside SEZ and the partnership will contribute significantly to empower the youth in technical and vocational training,\u201d said Mathabatha.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore the Premier announced that the progress towards the designation of Fetakgomo \u2013Tubatse SEZ is at an advanced stage and the completion of the designation is expected to contribute massively to creation of jobs and economic growth.
