After 2020\/2021 financial audit examination records by the Auditor General, various municipalities in the province achieved positive outcomes which called for celebrations from finding on performance and compliance with municipal financial legislation. <\/p>\n
The prestigious awards were held at Bela Bela Forever Resort on Thursday to acknowledge and recognize municipalities that outperformed from the previous financial year. <\/p>\n
The ceremony was also used to pay tribute to the late Deputy Chairperson of SALGA and Mayor of Colins Chabane Cllr Moses Maluleke who tragically lost his life in the last two weeks. <\/p>\n
Currently Limpopo is regarded as the most improved province in South Africa with improved internal audit and control measures. EC
