This includes the allocation of the provincial budget for the 2026/27 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF), the upcoming State of the Province Address (SOPA) delivery and its commitments, as well as a thorough evaluation of the matric results along with an improvement plan for the 2026 academic year.

Local government was also a topical discussion, as basic services such as reliable water provision, sanitation, accessible and inclusive healthcare, and quality education remain challenges that require in-depth resolutions. Thus, Office of the Premier will ensure that provincial public entities operate efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with government’s objectives to enhance service delivery and public trust.

In a nutshell, Premier Ramathuba alongside her executives are committed to implement their 5-year strategic plan (2025-2030) with these objectives on their mind; transform the economy of the province, advance social transformation, step up the fight against corruption, build a capable and developmental state, and strengthen nation building and social cohesion.

In the continued pursuit of driving a growing economy, developing infrastructure, and provisioning quality services for a better Limpopo, experts gathered at Zebula Golf Estate for a two-day Provincial Strategic Planning Session held from the 2nd – 3rd of February 2026, with the overall goal of improving provincial governance and supporting economic transformation.
