Limpopo Provincial Government – Departments

The Limpopo Provincial Government consists of 11 Departments, namely:

These provincial departments which constitute the provincial government administration are responsible for implementing laws and providing services to the people of Limpopo in its entirety.

Working with a budget of billions rands (in 2023/2024 financial year), these departments are expected to deal with the key spending priorities on the following areas:

  • A capable, ethical and development state,
  • Economic transformation and job creation,
  • Education, skills and health,
  • Consolidating the social wage through reliable and quality basic services,
  • Spatial integration, human settlements and local government,
  • Social cohesion and safe communities,
  • A better Africa and the world.
